It seems this is a common practice for medical and health facilities where I live; staff sharing. Because of two towns being fairly close together, a lot of places have staff work two days in one office and two or three days at the other. That would get old after awhile , for me at least.
Try an additional $2.50 per hour when you work at the other store. That way everyone is happy that they have to travel, and management is happy that both are covered at minimal cost.
OR, you could treat your employees better and they would be happy to work for you, or at the other store. The strident capitalistic model demands profit and production over all else, but it has been shown time and time again that putting employees first does exactly that.
