It’s an obvious joke, been done before in the strip, but I just love Teddy and Francis’ dumb grins and “Just pretend we’re not here!”, it’s so silly! Plus, flustered Nate is always cute! 9\10 (yesterday’s strip should probably be 8\10 in retrospect)

Daphne’s body language in the first panel tells us that she knows exactly what Nate wants to say to her ;) As Peirce himself confirmed on Christmas Day last year, “there’s a lid for every pot!”
