Me prescribe turkey dinner with losta gravy.

Get a good probe thermometer that has an alarm connected to it. Put it between thigh and breast of the bird. I set mine to 170F and it comes out great. There are many types available, mine has a wired probe to the base unit, actually you can have 6 probes connected. Then I have an app on my tablet that communicates with it so I can monitor the temp remotely.

Is that a thermometer or are you just excited to see me?

I loathe, abhor, despise, detest, & abominate those pop-up timers. By the time they pop, the turkey is WAY overdone & dried out! So I always pull them out before I put the bird in the oven.

160F is a very bad fever, fatal even.
