I’ve heard tell that home-made fruitcake can be moist and delicious, it’s only the store-boughten, mass-produced kind that’s dry as cardboard in the desert.

    Lies.

Home-made, or mass-produced, it still has crystallized fruit.

Poncho, be quiet. You’re 0 for 2 there. I love cats AND fruitcake! Though I wouldn’t want one shaped like a cat!

The Stollen (not “stolen”) from Aldi is pretty good! Made in Germany.

Me to Rose. I run a shelter for the unwanted fruitcake. I’ve never had one delivered to my shelter though.

More likely, they’re too dam lazy to get a job. Or maybe they love dope or hooch to much to pass a drug screen. Either way, it spells LOSERS.

Is it just me or does anyone else expect to see a Terminator come around the corner in the next panel. (Also, does anyone else remember C-Ration fruitcake?)

you are all eating fruitcake wrong!! should be served warm with a little butter on top…growing up as a kid my folks and i would spend first 2 weeks of December in Florida (we lived in RI) and would drive and every year coming back, we would make a detour to Claxton GA, to buy fruitcakes for our relatives…and we also ate a couple while we were there, fresh out of the oven…warm them up and discover the magic!!

I have heard that in the UK, fruitcake is the traditional wedding cake.
