My wife hates tech so I get to control the TV remote and the wifi, but she still won’t let the thermostat climb over 72F.
They’d always have something to fight over—high tech or not!
See how much better it feels where I set it?
I just smile, remembering that the thermostat wire is disconnected
Mine is set on 68° or 69°. Our electric is so expensive, we put sweatshirts and sweatpants on all winter long.
Nothing like having a thermostat that anyone can hack. No thanks!!
My monthly power bill went up another $5 a couple months ago, it went up $9 six months before that. I keep my thermostat at 69 F through the winter and 81 in the summer. I have friends who set theirs at 85, I can’t.
So you can nag each from a distance.
Make sure it’s set at a good cozy temperature this winter. No point in anyone freezing.
