After 400 years, we still honor the sharing of the earthās blessings upon the earliest settlers of this country. They came here, escaping persecution for having a different religious belief than the king. They shared the bounty with those who had lived on that land for thousands of years. The fact that those immigrants didnāt get wiped out by their new neighbors is a testament to the power of tolerance and sharing, and in itself may be a miracle. We should all be very thankful that those from across the sea were allowed to survive and eventually prosper. This is something worth celebratingā¦. HAPPY IMMIGRANTS DAY!!! God bless those escaping religious persecution and seeking a new life.
