The last two times I went to see movies (Avatar 2 and Wicked), there were no ticket takers at all. I could have just walked in off the street and straight into any theater I wanted without paying a penny. Nobody ever checked. I don’t know if they were short staffed or if this is some new thing they’re doing, but apparently it’s super easy to go to any movie you want for free at theaters where they’re not checking.
