Dr. Mabuse is a famous fictional villain. German director Fritz Lang made three films about him, Dr. Mabuse the Gambler (silent, 1922), The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933), and The Thousand Eyes of Dr. Mabuse (1960). Several other German directors made films about Dr. Mabuse.
We talk about the “celebrated villains” in Dick Tracy. But within the strip, they’re not “celebrated” – they’re crooks. Most are just plain evil, though occasionally there has been a story where someone just made bad choices (like Tonsils). But in any case, why would there be a whole club dedicated to “celebrating” them? The whole concept is kind of dumb, actually.
so this may take awhile then since too many people wanted to see the real dick Tracy die that they couldn’t wait so they took down the fake one instead… :\

Good morning™, Good As Guilty Murderers !
Why would someone take a chance on doing a murder when this bunch appears to have well to do jobs, with every reason for not risking hard time ?

And now it’s an anti-social club. How was DT killed anyway? Are we still waiting for someone to examine the body?

1- DT: WHY’D YOU DO IT, errrr, FLATTOP??? WHY’D YOU KILL ME?
2- FLATTOP: This club celebrates criminals. You had no business being here. Surely you can see how disruptive your presence was? And continues to be…
DT: GULP. I believe I can. OK. Justifiable Homicide then. And I think I’d better be moseying along. Like – really fast…
