I could have used this holiday back when I was working my way through school at Sears. If you worked retail the worst day of the years was the day after Christmas. I didn’t mind the sales, but the returns—ugh! So much paperwork!
Hey, I’m a customer, and while I may not be “right” 100% of the time, I’m right 90% of the time… and I’m purty sure that means I’m only wrong 12% of the time! So there!
Time your returns just right and you can exchange what you don’t want for twice as much on clearance sales.(NEVER the day after Christmas.Plus someone else’s return might be just what you wanted.)
I’m always gifted things I don’t use, like tree ornaments, I don’t have a tree thanks to the cat getting tangled in the lights and dragging it through the house. Running out of curtain rods and lamp shades to hang them on. And they stay out all year around, or I’d never see them ever again.

Whichever you are, customer or clerk, just try to follow the “Golden Rule.”…..Do unto others,as you want them To do unto you.

I worked retail for YEARS. Unfortunately, companies that operated with the motto, “The Customer Is Always Right”, usually went out of business.
