Maybe one day people will reevaluate what the holidays mean; it has nothing to do with exchanging or getting/giving gifts, and all about giving of one’s self. The winter solstice is a time for self-reflection and the roles we take in life. Spring will see if those self-reflections will grow to become relevant in our future. So those who participate in wassailing hold true to the prayers for tomorrow.
