If it’s the same A.I. working on the same assignment… won’t it output three identical reports for the girls?
- – - – -
It’s a full (if slightly mis-ordered) classics update for Friday the 13th:
Brenda and Lance listen to Gracie’s cover story. I think we know there’s some fireworks in that news clipping, if it ever sees the light of day.
Skeezix never was great at math, which works out pretty well as he finagles 75% of the candy from what he was supposed to split with brother Corky.
Cartoonist Stan Lynde takes Rick, Hipshot and the rest of Conniption in a new direction. This requires an explanation.
Skeezix is too smart to fall into Dr. Little’s trap, but it turns out there are about 4 billion people who might pluck the grape that breaks the planet’s back.
They left the AI doll on Mars without the power to get back, so (hopefully) this stupid plot is over… except for the part where the teacher fails them all for not doing their own work.
“When we’re gone for weeks, it’s only minutes here!” “Um, Ida…? The Christmas tree is up. We left before Halloween!” “Relax! It’s comic-strip time, like when a Dick Tracy villain kills a guy in the Spring and it’s Thanksgiving when Tracy corners him and drills him through the head!”
The kids learned two valuable lessons in this arc. First, do not take any of Gertie’s gummies. The are not candy. Second, how to use AI to cheat so they don’t have to do any of that stupid homework stuff. No need to learn when they already have a smartphone.

Since no one studies how can they be sure the papers are accurate and if they’re too accurate teach will smell a pack of rats.

I see the Christmas tree in the first panel. Hope we get something Christmas related in the next few days.

I am hoping for a happy ending where they all get in trouble and are shamed all over G A.

As somebody said above, the teacher will be curious how three different students turned in three 100% identical reports in the same handwriting
