The dogs are cleaning up the mess. Why should she care? As long as the leftovers are safe for the residents.

Dogs are like that. They don’t criticize or judge they just love unconditionally. I wish people were more like dogs.

I heard a trainer call this technique, “the leaky toddler”. Just drop yummies on the floor without expecting anything from the dog, and in time the dog will love to see you coming. It can be a way to help a anxious dog learn to accept new people.

Well the dogs are happy with you so it evens out.
