Regifting Fred?

Rubber bones are fun until you realize that they aren’t very filling.

We know you prefer the real thing, Fred, and Jock must also since the look on his face isn’t a pleased one. Beggers CAN be choosers, and a rubber bone isn’t the chosen item this Christmas.

Fred, my friend, I hope Jock did not “hear” what you “said” in the last panel! Although I believe he did as he does not look as pleases anymore as he did when you gave him his “present”. But I do understand that you wanted to give an unwanted present to someone who would enjoy it more than you would.

And now he has a bone to pick with you.

Our mutts get rawhide twists and Harvey AKA Short Fat runs around with it in his mouth whining because someone might take his. So, I let him into the bedroom.

I guess it’s the thought that counts how ever little it might be
