For many people, the day after Christmas means they made it through the most difficult time of the year.

To me, the saddest day is when all the Christmas decorations come down. I like the pretty lights during these dark days. No wonder a lot of my neighbors keep them up longer.

I agree that February is by far the saddest. I lost both my parents in the month of February and don’t even think of getting me going on Groundhog Day. That day never seems to end

I’ve learned to like the day after Christmas, because it allows more time to put the presents to use.

We were looking at mattresses during their Presidents Day sale. The salesperson was a lovely and buxon young woman who kept rolling around on the mattresses and I have to confess that my thoughts were not on buying beds.

My daughter was born on President’s day in her birth year but President’s day moves around, but its close for her to get presents on that day.

A.J is not wrong.. once the joy and glow of the Holidays and the New Year wears off and its no longer walking in a winter wonderland but cold and wet. Winter is depressing
