Carl is having the best time , good for him!

Had no emergency vehicles Christmas day but had three in a row today. One ambulance and two law enforcement and then another ambulance. The highway I live on has always had accidents but after the bypass around the South of town was opened it has steadily gotten worse. It used to be the cross street here by me but that has all but stopped since the speed limit was dropped from 55 to 45. The ones now are on the sharp curve 1.65 km East.

There are benefits to small town living … lack of serious traffic is one.

I had some concerns about making my third retirement the last one but now I’m living my life like Carl and am so glad I decided to do it. The only real difference here is that my dog won’t let me go fishing without her.

Karl has found his happy place. Hope everyone can find theirs in 2025. We will surely need one.

Trying to imagine a city extending north/south from I-30 to I-70. It would cross multiple states.
