Does anyone remember that lametta/ tinsel was made of aluminum and one would iron carefully it each year?

So thats what was missing on our tree ! I blame that bird….whatshisname ?

I always like tinsel, but it gets everywhere, and the dogs do go after it.

I don’t remember any of my dogs ever scarfing aluminum icicles. Drinking water from the tree font, yes.

I’m totally lost on this one , sorry ? : (

Nevernevernever apply tinsel to anything if one has pets. The result can be quite entertaining yet dire all at the same time :D

And tinsel is another thing that’s hard to clean up. It’s just like glitter. The moment, you think you have it all. There’s a string staring right at you.

I just saw a history of Christmas segment online. The original tinsel was real silver, they then replaced it with painted lead. Thankfully, that didn’t last very long.

Their poop is gonna be real festive.

Passing plastic until New Year’s Eve. Side note. In the old days tinsel was lead foil. Taken back off the tree and reused.

I always laughed when the static-charged dog would wanderver to the tree and get revenge-zapped by the tree. (You know, for that “watering” incident last week…)
