I’m awake! I’m up! Now what?

I’m bright tailed and bushy eyed.

It’s hard to be bright eyed and bushy tailed when you’re hungover.

The squirrels is thinking ‘Are you nuts’.

This morning the squirrel was sitting on the fence. He curled one front paw in the football holding position, so I did the same thing. Then he curled the other paw. I did the same thing. We watched each other quite happily for a few moments.

Most of us need a little time in the AM to turn into human beings, Aunty. But I think we’re justified in expecting you to be fully awake when you show up for work — which in your case is entertaining us when you take center stage in your comic panel.

But I won’t hold you to the impossibly high standard of being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Awoke at the crack of dawn, stuffed the crack and went back to sleep.

kinda like me… except I can manage a smile… (just don’t ask me to be bright eyed… and I don’t have a tail, so there’s that too!)

I always thought it was the fox that was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

I, at least, am more often described as “bright tailed and bushy-eyed.”
