We were divided in 1774 and since. The closest we came to being united was in December of 1941, and we still had those who opposed the majority. It is the nature of our government, a democratic-republic, that we are divided. What made ours work up until January 6, 2021 was how we handled the divide.
Explain that to Congress. They refuse to move forward together. Each side thinks their way is the best. Meanwhile we as a country suffer because of their inability to compromise. We sent them there, we can send them home!! We all had the chance this last election, but a lot voters decided to sit this one out. They are to blame for the future of our country and the turmoil thie coming administration will bring upon our democracy as we know it!
Government used to be the art of compromise rather than brinksmanship. There were times of statesmanship instead of not-invented-here resistance. We have a history of pursuing ideals rather than promoting the follies of an opportunistic personality cult.

When one of them is broken, all you do is go around in circles.

The thing is, the disagreement of which wing is broken. To be honest, it is the whole bird that is broken.

It is not in the human nature to fly. Or we would have evolved to have two wings. Cheers

Only if both wings are trying to go in the same direction.

But the weird thing is, that with using only the left wing, you’d circle to the right and vice versa.

Yep! Human nature being what it is, I doubt we’ll ever get that working well.

Until recently, I would loudly agree. Now, the right wing has nothing positive, helpful, healing to contribute.
