Maybe he’s making vodka.

He may think: “Hey, it works with wine.”

What about tomato ketchup?

Next, they’ll show Lucy and Ethel stomping on a vat of grapes to make the wine.

But the wine is okay.

Restaurant, I worked in, would get bags of peeled potatoes in some whitening agent. Nasty tasting and didn’t smell very good either. The cook would fancy them up into something edible.

“ Just as a footnote…”

If they are fixing mashed potatoes that way, I expect the rest of the food won’t be much better.

Methinks if i saw that I would choose another restaurant. The sanitation levels would have to be extremely low.

My parents told me that a chef at one of their favorite restaurants was fired and took a leak in the big vat of mashed potatoes as a going-away gift. Needless to say they didn’t go back for a while

I love mashed potatoes! Well… not those.

It’s OK. That way make vodka.

One reason that I don’t drink wine. I assume that most grape juice is done with a mechanical press.

used to do maintenance/repair work at a number of restaurants, and every kitchen, even the fancier ones, were filthy… some more than others, but still, I’m talkin’ scary filthy!!
