Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I love the games and puzzles I play on my phone. It’s just those d@mned ads that keep popping up that I hate! Some sites offer to delete ads, but at a price, and the risk that they’d sell your personal info (credit card #) to hackers.
Friday I put down the computer and went and worked in the garage. Saturday I walked away from the computer and worked on the kitchen faucet. Now I’m back on the computer.
Way back in the 80’s, I couldn’t afford to live in the dorms at college so I commuted from home. For about 2 years my Mom and I were both living there but our schedules were such that we hardly ever saw each other. Our method of communication was leaving notes on the fridge for the other to read whenever they got a chance. All of this was before the internet and smart phones. So now, I guess it’s ingrained in me, I’m not constantly looking at my phone. I treat it more like a fridge door message board. I don’t need instant/constant communication – I’ll just see it eventually when I get around to it.
Maybe they should create an app or maybe a subroutine in the os to detect when the user is about to toss the phone and show a picture of the user. Call it “selfie-preservation mode”. ;-p
Oh Broomie! We are texting you every day! Make nice, and sometimes not do nice, comments and really would love if you would write back. We love you, Broomie. And your bunch of family-friends.

Check your phone, maybe there’s an addiction group you can go to.

Living off the grid so you want to not have a cell phone then that happens… a text comes through and you’re happy because there is no wifi.
