Change only works for the person choosing to do the change. You have to find what works for you, and do that. For example, I don’t want to count calories, but that seems to work for others. Little adjustments that add up to big changes work for me, so that’s what I do.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!
any person who has tried any of these diets know that once you stop the diet, you gain the weight back. everyone has to find what works for them, and what they can maintain in the long term. i love seeing Cathy wrestle with the societal stigma of not buying into the hoopla.
Cathy is doing the smart thing – for her. Diets only work if you have the determination to stick to them – and Cathy sure does not have that.
I managed to finish plowing both driveways last night without freezing anything off – but my thumbs were rather numb when I finished. It was after I got them warm again, hate those tingles, that I remembered I usually wear small woolen mittens inside the big ones. Next time out I will remember.
Dr Atkins died from complications following a head injury on 17 April 2003 after falling on a New York sidewalk. The coroner’s report concluded that Dr. Atkins, 72, had a history of heart attack and congestive heart failure and noted that he weighed 258 pounds at death.

Well, at least comic Cathy is standing up for her beliefs. We’ll see how this works out, in terms of weight, but kudos in theory.
