I scored very high on “secretarial aptitude” when I was in high school. My solution would be to write “Blue” on some yellow folders. :)

Mark NEW BUSINESS with a blue marker. Maybe put a blue line on the folder above the name of the new client.

Great suggestions everyone but remember this is Cathy we are talking about – the folder MUST be blue or it messes her whole system (which is messed up anyway but we won’t tell her).

My system is about to be really messed up. My business partner finally made a reasonable offer for my shares so I should be officially retired in a couple of weeks. That is officially – I already have an offer for some contract work for a company I know well. Now I have to start shredding tons of paper – 20 years worth – that I won’t ever need again. I just know that the resulting rearranging of the file drawers will result in me not being able to find anything else for a while.

It is Thursday and the week is slowing down (I wish). Enjoy this fine day.

I would be like Cathy only I would just go out and get some more blue folders. Putting the “blue” stuff in “yellow” folders could be really confusing in 6 months when you forget that you did it.

The rainbow folders started (oops … continued) … her descent into madness. Ha.
