Gifted regret.

Not only is she sane, she’ll get the same ugly fountain again next Christmas.

Well, she didn’t say that.

Oh, Petey, you sweet talker you. I love sarcasm.

I would’ve gone with “And you’re sane now ?”

Takes one to know one, I guess.

She is inside with all the other sane people

Slow down there Petey, no one said anything about sanity. It’s just that she doesn’t have cute woodland creatures staring adoringly at her whenever she goes outside.

It’s after Christmas insanity for most of us!

How many of us experienced this, where we begged a begged our folks for something, then once we got it, we thought “I really didn’t want this.”

In grade school, I begged my father to take me to a school fair being held on a Saturday. Once we got there, I really didn’t care if I was there or not, and I couldn’t figure out why I lost my excitement about it. Part of growing up I guess.

I suppose it is the way some people would phrase it (going up in tone at the end of a declarative sentence), but it sure looks like a question mark at the end of Petey’s statement “You got other stuff”, when I think it should be a period or an exclamation point…

Petey, be nice to little sister…..at least she admitted the fountain was insane…
