I think we all tend to believe what we see on the internet. It has evolved into something with credibility. Unfortunately there’s plenty of fake stuff on there so one needs to research if an item is important and verify it’s authenticity.
Twitter is the only social media platform I use, and, while a lot of information is legitimate, there is also a ton of misinformation on there, too. I’ve discovered that, for whatever reason, some people will post some pretty outrageous stuff. However, as you said, when I read something that just doesn’t sound right, I go looking for reliable sources to either verify or debunk.
