WOW seeing that yellowjacket. I JUST tonight knocked 2 bees that have a nest on my front entrance. It is cold here and these two bees have apparently been trying to keep the larva warm. I feel bad but I’ve knocked down their nest and they keep coming back

I read today’s strip and thought it was ok. Then, I went back and looked…isolating each drawing of Bucky with my eyes. That’s where the real entertainment is today. Buckyriffic! …or whatever.

When I hiked it was the Tarantula Hawk wasps that were around especially in the spring. On the Schmidt Sting Pain Index, the tarantula hawk’s sting is rated a 4, which is the highest score and reserved for the most excruciating stings. I never got stung even when I found myself in the middle of a tribe once.
