jestrfyl - Mivins is quoting the Hogwarts School motto from the Harry Potter series. It means ‘Never tickle a sleeping dragon’.

But…if we don’t look at you, will you actually exist?

Oops - I thought that sounded familiar. So are there any Latin scholars who CAN translate meassa’s line?

Maybe:

“Si non calorem tolerare potestas, non draconem titillas!!”

But don’t quote me–at least not until someone else has checked for accuracy and proper translation of the original intent.

Was at my home con this weekend, the t-shirt dealer had the general “Do not meddle in the affairs…” shirt, but the one I almost got had a dragon with a knight in each hand and the caption “Canned lunch”.
