Like more than a few people have commented, cartoonists are NOT grateful for the extra material provided by Traitor Trump and the members of his evil cult. For the same reason school janitors are never grateful for an outbreak of projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea.
As someone who does art fairs, I’ve heard almost every one of these or a variation of it. “Such beautiful work, but I already have too much stuff in my house. What’s this for?”
I bought prints from you and hung them in my office with pride. One was of a girl graduating labeled “Dreamer” and the other was a Cochise (I believe) with a rifle. Saying, “Show me your papers!” No one ever asked me to take them down.

I never criticize this artist. I just faithfully buy his calendars every year (and keep the old ones).

There is an old saying that artists have to suffer in order to be great. Looks like it all starts at the Art Fair.

Not sure why any creator would go to a comic book convention. I cannot imagine there is any money in it.

I have a friend who makes incredible drawings, but he never studied Art, he’s just very skilled…
