You tell him Fred!

This seems to be an ongoing thing with Mr. Dear – inconsideration. This isn’t the first time he’s been late and hasn’t called. Really. How hard is it to think of someone else and knowing they might be worried, give them a call. No excuse.

She loves him.

Is dinner still warm and are there dog scraps?

Run over? Well, now that you’re home “My cup runneth over”…

The dinner is in the dog. This would have been in the days before mobile phones. So if the car broke down…..

Sounds like she’s fixing to run him over herself! Next time, call, Mr. Inconsiderate!

Fred and Mrs Dear are totally in agreement this time.

Fred is her greatest cheer leader!

I even call my doctors office if I’m late for my appointment. There is no excuse to not call, especially with your significant other when you’re going to be late.

Oh Mr Dear, will you ever learn!!!

I, too, have used these very words to my errant Spousal Unit.

If I had to leave Chinook (Avatar) home, which was extremely rare ….. when I got back he would be all excited until I came in ….. then he would go sit with his back turned to me for about 20 minutes ….. then he would finally come over for me to pat and make of him …… Great Memories …..:)

Well Mr. Dear you stepped in it this time ! You best come up with a plan to get you back in her good graces ;-) … Fred will take a Sausage ;-)

He should be more considerate and buy life insurance. Then she wouldn’t be worried at all, maybe even a little hopeful.

He was hanging out with Andy Capp and forgot the time.

Years ago, when my son was a teenaged driver, he complained about us asking him to let his know if he was going to be late getting home. I explained that that’s what adults do and he always called and never complained after that.
