It’s a date!

How chivalrous to offer Rover as a fluffy cushion for Ruby.

Is this strip supposed to take place before schools began tacking on “snow days” to the end of the term? If so, those kids are very lucky—they won’t be stuck in some stuffy classroom while others are already enjoying summer vacation!

Maybe make mom could make some grilled cheese and tomato soup for after sledding . Better yet, HOT COCO! Have fun you two

Those four-legged fluffy cushions are the best!

Ruby needs a dog she can bring along for Rover to play with ;)

If they crash (or have some other kind of accident – perhaps wiping out when they hit a snowbank or turning too sharply), Red could end up being Rover’s cushion.

Probably enough there for both of them!!!!

Red, you fluff head, YOU are supposed to be her fluffy cushion. You will understand in a few years.

You seem to forget that Red’s watching the original Star Trek as first-run episodes, Ed Sullivan’s still on TV and Man was just reaching the Moon (Apollo 8 mission). Darn right he didn’t have “snow days”. They had quality instead of quantity education.

Red ……. are you sure that “YOU’RE” not Rover’s fluffy cushion ….. :)
