Rich people problems. My concern is that young players, amateurs, are getting messed up at a very early age due to concussion. Hockey, football, soccer, rugby…all to pursue the big bucks. Cynical? Yup. I’ve seen too many examples to not be cynical.

Listen up, people!

The concussion protocol was created by the NFL’s shysters to prevent the NFL from more lawsuits. It still doesn’t work & never will!

The fourth being the lapdog media. They stomp and shout for about 5 minutes, then go deathly silent on the subject. That also applies to the domestic violence problem. Too afraid to put the collective feet to the fire.

I first started wondering about football when the “Green Death” published a story regarding Jim Otto & his travails back in the ’80’s.

Thank Goodness they didn’t join the artillery and get their brains damaged by a million rounds in quick-fire.

I fell four weeks ago and hit my forehead. Severe concussion. Still recovering. (Or have I already posted that here? Can’t recall.)

But the players are still put out there in short order. Yeah, they’re young, but that doesn’t fix everything quickly.

How long before Draft Kings lets you bet on how many times the concussion protocol will be used during a game? (and don’t say it can’t happen)
