Both!!!

I was at a Stones concert last year and most of the audience looked like they were over 55.

Young for both.

Too young for the band, just right for the audience, now Ben, please pull your tshirt down a bit, it would look ok on Liv but on you, not so much.

Never to old to Rock and Roll !

I think it was around 2009 or 2010, the Stones were on tour. The newspaper had a picture of them getting ready to play. They were old looking then! I made fun of them and my 20 something aide asked why. “Just look at them! Old farts still playing rock and roll.” I said. ‘Well, at least they’re doing what they know how to do." she answered. Couldn’t argue with that.

You kind of have to old to know who they are.

They’re still rockin’ and rollin’, ‘cept now they’re doing it in wheelchairs.

I saw the Rolling Stones at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1966. The best song I remember was ‘19th Nervous Breakdown’ and watching Bill Wyman, the bass player, slide down the neck of the bass while double picking. Incredible talent…all of them. Mick Jagger had all the moves of Jagger then and now.

Rock of Ages

Put it this way, the #1 song the week my wife was born was Get Off Of My Cloud. We’d go see the Stones in a second (I saw them on the Steel Wheels tour).

Mick and Keith are both 81 so Ben and Liv are youngsters compared to Mick and Keith.

I keep saying: “Oh look, that band who is using walkers is back on—wonder if their O2 tanks are more portable now.”
