Bob goes to his friend, John Doe, and says "I have an incurable fatal disease. I don’t want to suffer any more, but I just can’t take my own life. Would you take your gun and do it for me? John agrees to help his friend die, and shoots him. He is subsequently convicted of murder and is sentenced to life in prison, in spite of Bob having put his request in writing.
Scenario 2
Bob goes to John Doe M.D., and says ""I have an incurable fatal disease. I don’t want to suffer any more, but I just can’t take my own life. Would you take your syringe and do it for me?" John agrees to help Bob, and gives him a lethal injection. John then gets paid for his services. When people protest against assisted suicide, John answers by saying it’s ok, because Bob put his request in writing.
How small does a bug have to be to become simply collateral damage? The whole sanctity of life issue has a problem when you get down toward microscopic size.
I have no problem, “helping” someone move on. Getting away with it is the problem. I’ve got a couple of ways that should work. If you are a true friend, it should be something you are willing to do.
What makes the most innocent comments trigger political reactions? Never in 40 or so of my now 60 years have I ever experienced such things.I know I’m on the low end of intelligence, but my word.Maybe politics is right beneath the surface of some people’s consciousness, and they are waiting to be triggered.Madness!

Sorry Hammy, squirrels aren’t so innocent based on this recent news story: “Scientists amazed after California squirrels found eating voles”

If Hammy was a human, he’d be a white woman named Karen.

I wonder how Hammy would react if he knew about the mouse-eating squirrels that were discovered recently.

Anyone who rides a motorcycle or a scooter without a full helmet knows that bugs are “nature’s snacks”!

The bug could be radioactive, which means Verne will be a glowing turtle.
