He only knew about it ’cause he thought it was a tin of “Quality Street” Chocolates. (Candy to our cousins across the pond).

At least he put something in.

I would have thought it was the bottle caps in the collection basket that gave it away.

Jesus was impressed when the widow gave two mites.

It’s not a “crowd.” It’s a congregation. Perhaps now we see why you’re saddled with so much misery, Flo.

And a beer koozie from The Rose and Crown.

arms for the poor!.. priests take a vow of poverty…think about it!

No doubt the collection plate was still somewhat lighter when it left Andy despite the buttons!

The only reason he goes to church!

Andy sometimes leaves subtle clues.

Andy felt obliged to donate but he was skint so buttons he gave.

The vicar accusing Capp of counterfiting. Blast him, it very well could have been Chalkie since Capp spent all Chalkie’s money in the Rose and Crown this week. May the Vicar be forgiven for his actions against the good and morale Capp.
