The background is usually the neatest room in their house, purposely arranged like a movie set, with a book shelf lined with impressive titles.

My colleagues got to see one of my cats lick his butt one time.

I wouldn’t want to have anyone see the padded walls and straight jacket. :)

Sometimes a little to much, a co worker forgot to clear his home desk area one morning. There were numerous empty bottles strewn around and he wasn’t in any shape for this.

Too bad I retired well before the plague. If I had been able to get in on Zoom meetings. I would have used a dumpster interior as my background. And gotten fired with extreme prejudice.
