Go thing it didn’t stop while you were on it Fred, you could have been stuck all day

Bassets are not easy to carry….

Yeah, that’s a long, steep flight of stairs. And yeah, for a long, low doggy it’s twice as much work as it is for Dear. Sorry, but look at it this way. Extra exercise and good for you. No, huh?

Some dogs are too heavy to carry! Don’t you have an elevator?

If it was Mrs Dear, Fred would be womanhandled.

That’s okay, Fred. Walking is good for both of you!

Fred you need some exercise as well as Mr. Dear

I saw a German shepherd riding a down escalator in Paris. He had obviously done it before.

how about cats?

We watched a young woman carry a large (80 lb) terrified dog down open metal stairs of an observation tower. He was sure they were going to die and let her know it. At least he wasn’t squirming to get out of her arms.
