shoot! if it is not about Andy then I’m clueless here ….

Wondering minds entertained the thought.

What “official” determined the first seven wonders of the world? (Not arguing that they aren’t “wonders”, just curious as to who made the determination).

I could see that coming from the first panel.

Capp must be playing to win. A full pint in front of him. Concentrating and not sipping. Capp knows the answer is Andre the Giant. Shall be a fine victory for Capp. A round bought by Chalkie in celebration.

Wonders are objects, not events.

According to the archives, Andy did in fact buy a round, but he waited until everyone left the bar before he did. Even buying his own drink is hard to believe.

I would have voted for Andy’s shocking departure from normality.

Andy buying a drink, even for himself, would not be a wonder, it would be a miracle.

Like a lot of people, I immediately thought of King Kong. I miss the days when Andy Capp was a free from political comments. (Even though I do agree with some of them.) I wish all the pro-trumpers here would fall into a canal and not get out.
