We used to sigh and roll our eyes when my MIL used to mail us “helpful” magazine articles. Now my wife is emailing our kids “helpful” links. Into the trash bin, then and now.
The joys of getting old, your kids get busy raising their family leaving no time for you, hopefully you can still fend for yourself because nursing facilities are expensive.
