Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Well, the brakeman screwed up a bit, and the cars are a bit out of order tonight… but it’s still a full update for the 31st, everyone who was going got into the station tonight:
Walt runs into a man on the ship, who knows a man Walt knows from Kansas City. It’s nearly a Walt Disney trademarked punch line, but Walt would have said it first anyway.
Then Brenda shows up unexpectedly… at her apartment building with a new roomie and her dog. I presume that’s a doorman in the background, and not a policeman desperately searching for the missing kid from the waterfront. Class building, to have an apartment receptionist.
Eve got the first shot to wiggle in, and now she’s unstoppable! Which is a problem for the basketball captain who’s now getting shown up…. BY A GIRL! It’s still hard to tell which way Corky is rooting, but Best Heating Supply must not be a great business – if they’d drop a customer for embarrassing their precious, delicate sports ball hero.
Quyat gets to ride the caboose tonight, as he reenacts the Battle of Bunker Hill, which certainly won’t upset any readers in 1970 America. What, you don’t have any homework due on Monday, kid?
Having read a lot of HOA nightmare stories, I’m guessing they’ve been fining people who aren’t members (like Walt) and getting liens placed on properties when the owners don’t pay. And they’re probably embezzling from the fees and fines.
I’m guessing tomorrow we find out Walt’s house is outside the HOA territory and the lawyer files a harassment suit against the HOA. Or else the HOA violators hire Joel and Rufus to clean up their violations.

Just a wild guess – the (former?) deputy mayor (from the Electric Acres story) is involved.
