Just as a courtesy to a frenemy, it’s not good practice to hold your palm out to stop a sword thrust.

I am not a physics expert, but if an inch thick layer of ice forms at the top of the water bowl, wouldn’t the water in the half inch thick garden hose also freeze? (We usually in the late fall drain all outside water hoses before the water can freeze.)

Well, if the water bowl froze, with the hose attached, the spigot should have froze, too.

Henry should give pause resuming the battle with the flower hat guy after Louie’s bowl is filled…after all, it appears he stopped Henry’s sword with his bare hand in the first panel…that’s probably not someone you want to have a sword duel with!
