X-ray vision is impossible as eyes can only “see” when light reflected off of an object reaches our retina. So unless light can pass through a brick wall, you cannot see through it, no matter how good your eyes are.

If Superman has to wear glasses, that might confuse the whole identity thing with Clark Kent.
