It seems to me that these days ‘ketchup’ seems to be the dominant spelling over ‘catsup’, However in today’s strip, ‘catsup’ seems somehow appropriate.
Satchel should have added chopped onions, radioactive green relish, a pickle spear, tomato wedges, pickled sport peppers, and just a teeny, tiny, tiny dash of celery salt.
I find it interesting that some animals may be able to see colors that we can’t, such as in the infrared or ultraviolet spectrums. For example, bees may be able to see colored patterns in some flowers that are invisible to us under normal light, but are revealed under blacklight.
