My father used to “eat” hot soup with a very audible clicking sound which I thought was strange. I’m used to the “slurp” but surprised by the “click” that follows. He did have some upper partials.
On a side note, my wife has had problems with her teeth for years that was put off because she didn’t make time for them and now she’s looking to get that fixed. She thought she could get implants but a full set would cost over $70k. Now, she might have to settle for false teeth. My mother was the same way owing to neglect and smoking. She ended up getting false teeth. I inherited her characteristic dental issues but I vowed not to lose any of my teeth. I quit smoking early. Got treated for periodontal disease and later worked with a dentist to use Invisalign to straighten and close gaps in my teeth. So far, I’ve retained all my natural teeth and expect to have them with me for the rest of my life.
This actually happened to my mom, waaaaaay back when I was 13 or 14, she was yelling at me for whatever reason and her dentures just flew out. We looked at each other for a few seconds, then we burst out laughing. The reason for the yelling was quickly forgotten. It’s one of my fondest memories. Me and my mom occasionally bring it up and we laugh all over again…

I fully expected Broomie’s false teeth to go chattering away on their own like the wind-up ones….

Ask the teeth if they have a false human.

The worst part is when she leaves them in cold water at night and the chattering keeps everyone awake.
