We’re counting on the same court that thinks corporations are people and free spending is free speech to agree that “born in America” means “born in America”? Not holding my breath.
NYT columnist Ezra Klein recently wrote in a column that a main reason DJT is issuing these EOs is because he knows that with the extremely slim GOP majorities in both houses of Congress legislation would get stalled in both chambers. And the recent moves by both DJT and Musk have sparked the Democrats in Congress to start pushing back. And kudos to the judges who have ruled against DJT’s spending freeze as well as birthright citizenship (which goes against the Fourteenth Amendment, which states that anyone born inside US borders is a citizen).
