Oboyoboyoboy!! I sure hope we’ll see more comic old timers in the next arc!! I LOVE stories concerning them; it’s fun to recognize characters no longer around.

Cheese sanwithches tasting like steak, give me that recipe!

Mutt must have left his cigar outside.

Loving this! These guys need to go on a road trip together….

Now…. THIS is a really pleasant and exciting turn of events in Gasoline Alley!!!! I hope Mutt and Jeff hang around for several weeks worth of panels! I am looking forward to this.

Although perhaps unlikely, I would also like to see Mutt and Joel meet. But, I am happy just having Mutt and Jeff interact with Walt.

Have they come to take Walt to the Old Comics Home?

At first glance, I thought Gertie is driving those two ne’er-do-wells out with a shovel. But that’s the spatula she’s using to flip the grilled cheese sandwiches.

Mutt and Jeff always wore gloves. I don’t know why, but many comic characters did in their era.

M&J didn’t always have the same headgear, though. I especially like the times they wore fezzes.

Mutt and Jeff walk in and Gertie doesn’t bat an eye. She’s adjusting quite nicely.
