What a shocking turn of events. Well, not that shocking. More like, “Yep, that tracks.”

The problem is, If Rip rescues the mayor quickly, that will just convince her that the Highwayman clearly isn’t that dangerous.

To parapharse Dr. Doofenschmirt "I’m Schocked! Meaning I totally expected that!’

Well good riddance then. Time to gets a new Mayor.

[nerd alert] Wasn’t the deputy who got clobbered the Mayor’s son? Why wasn’t she angry about that?

Never mind. I looked at that kid again and realized he’d been needing a good a$$ kicking for years.

That is truly a hilarious turn of events. ☺️

Well mayor, now you have plenty of time to talk things out in a reasonable and adult manner with Mr. Highwayman. How’s that workin out for ya?

The mayor is a redhead. This fact means that the Highwayman is in BIG trouble…

I hope the mayor gets the you know what scared out of her before Rip saves the day.

Umm…Rip was fired, so unless someone hires him again, Rip has no authority to attack the Highwayman! Plus he will be personally responsible for any damages.

This will be the hardest decision Rip ever made. Does he hate the Highwayman enough to inflict the mayor on him for a month or two? Or should he save him from his own folly?

Actually, since Rip’s been fired, he is under no obligation to help the mayor out. Or, for that matter, not do destructive things. Who is going to stop him? Deputy Bunnyhill?
