I remember smoke filled rooms that had nothing to do with politics or business. I remember how hard it was to get away from smoke in public places. I don’t miss those days.

Today’s politics is like a big sports game where there a winners and losers, and no collaborative problem solving.

A local politician was threatened to have her office bombed because some guy was angry about getting mail from her campaign. He’s been arrested, and defended on social media my the MAGA cult. Apparently they feel he’s being completely reasonable, or free speech, or can’t be arrested until he actually blows something up.

One of Shoe’s stogies could give the whole Congress lung cancer.
