My knees don’t allow the sport anymore (used to love Speedminton back in the day before it got renamed to Cross Badminton and Crossminton; less influenced by winds than Shuttlecock – and I was really good at it).

Curbita? There are so many excellent recipes out there for the different (texture and taste) kinds – no need to cook most of them to an unrecognizable pulp.

God knows. My mother made it once and I hated it. Haven’t had it since. If someone offered it to me I may try it again but that never happened.

I don’t think any gourds are suitable for “people” food.

Creamed yellow crookneck -yummy. Cooked, mashed up like potatoes with added butter, milk, a little sour cream and cornstarch and water. Cook again until thickened. Kids loved it.

I always thought that was a verb.
