Until today I had no idea there was ever such a thing as Tomato soup cake. It makes me wonder if there are other soup based cakes out there. What’s next, Chowder cake? Bisque cake? Gumbo cake…, that’s where I draw the line.

There are recipes for Tomato Soup Cake from the 1950s and I think I might try it. It sounds like a spice cake of some kind.
