From how high can you drop an egg onto a concrete floor without breaking it?

    Higher than you might think!

The structural integrity of a well laid concrete floor renders it virtually indestructible towards an incoming egg, even at terminal velocity.

I understand the recipe for Roman era concrete was rediscovered this century.

Had to do a quick search on the ancient tomb item. It was in an olive grove on the island of Crete. If anyone was worried about the farmer, he was not injured. In fact, he was just getting set to drive off and look for a better parking spot when he noticed the hole in the ground.

They are experimenting with pumping treated waste water, locally, into the ground to raise the land higher to counter sea level rise.

Maybe the farmer can quit farming and use the site for a tourist attraction.
