I knew a doctor who shared a story that freaked me out. There was a terminal patient that had part of his jaw and throat removed (cancer). The patient’s breathing tube kept dislodging. The doctor told me no-one could successfully re-insert it until he got up and stood on the bed and forcefully shoved the tube in. Yipes!
